Walking into Sandra's home and Art To Be Framed is walking into a dream world. Old and new objects arranged and framed as artful vignettes, flirting with your eyes and creative imagination. The faux painted walls, ceilings and even deck floors along with the slip-covered furniture add to your relaxed stay and overall framing retreat.
Your accommodations are included as one of the best parts of your time here learning. I take only two guests at a time, each with a private room and a shared bath.

I'm a very creative framer whose energy has over flowed on to the walls, ceiling and some floors of my home. You'll feel welcome and relaxed as if you're staying in a quaint and charming Bed and Breakfast.

The faux painted walls and ceiling reflect a French mat applied to a surface beyond a mat and frame. Faux wood finishes I've applied to frames I've finished furniture and two "small" custom-made fireplaces that I also designed and built.

My home is my gallery, show and design space. Being a framer for 28 years my walls are filled. Everywhere you look you'll get an inspiration, see something new, shadow boxes, and needlework, hand painted mats, glass etching, French mats.

As your host I want you to enjoy your stay here. I want the stay to be a compliment to your overall learning environment.

I do include a continental style breakfast and a light lunch.

At the end of the day relax with a glass of wine, soda, tea and a few munchies.

On your free time you are welcome to use the studio and work on projects.

You can also take a short walk down town and take in the most amazing views of Mt Shasta, which stands 14,162 feet tall.  This a small community of 3700 people, a very charming town. This area is
world famous for mountain climbing and mountaineering ~ "Mt Shasta, the Alpine Community".
